Snack Ideas
Please remember: NO NUTS. This even means items that are nut-free, but made in a factory where other items have nuts.
- Fruit ~ Apple slices, bananas, box of raisins, melon balls, apple sauce, strawberries, blueberries, orange sections, frozen grapes, etc. (it is easier for first graders to have oranges pre-peeled and apples pre-cut)
- Fruit Parfait - yogurt with layers of cut-up fruit
- Veggies - baby carrots or cucumbers with dip, celery sticks, broccoli trees, etc.
- Pretzels
- Graham or animal crackers
- Rice cakes with sun butter (not peanut butter)
